Tokushima Invitation Coupon
Coupon allows one-way travel by ferry or express bus from Kansai toTokushima Prefecture for 500 yen. Applies to express buses departing from Osaka, Hyogo, and Kyoto, and ferries connecting Wakayama and Tokushima. Express buses include routes running to the southern and western parts of the prefecture, with a maximum discount of about 5,000 yen.

Common questions
I cannot go to the Osaka–Kansai Expo venue. Is there any way to receive the coupons at another location or by mail?
This coupon is distributed only at the Tokushima Prefecture booth inside the Kansai Pavilion at the Osaka–Kansai Expo. We do not offer mail or any other methods of delivery.
Is it necessary to present ID when receiving the coupons?
We may ask you to present ID to confirm that you are not a resident of Tokushima Prefecture.
If I visit the pavilion with my family, will we receive coupons for each family member?
Yes. If you are not a resident of Tokushima Prefecture, we will provide one coupon per person.
If family members or friends who are not visiting the pavilion want coupons, can I also receive coupons on their behalf?
No. We only issue coupons to those who actually visit the Tokushima Prefecture booth at the Kansai Pavilion.
Can non-Japanese (including overseas travelers) also use these coupons?
Yes. Anyone who is not a resident of Tokushima Prefecture can use these coupons.
If a child uses a coupon to purchase a discounted express bus or ferry ticket, will the cost be reduced to less than 500 yen?
No. The price is 500 yen for both adults and children.
Can discounted tickets be purchased online?
If you plan to use a express bus not operated by Kaifu Kanko, please present your coupon at the designated ticket counter to purchase a discounted ticket. If you plan to use a express bus operated by Kaifu Kanko, please purchase your discounted ticket from their dedicated website (http://www.kousokubus.jp/welcome-to-tokushima/) and present your coupon when boarding.
Can I buy the tickets at the ticket window on the same day?
Yes. However, for express buses, you cannot use the coupon if a seat is not available. We recommend making a reservation by phone in advance. Also, even if you have a coupon, you cannot use it if the campaign budget has been exceeded, or if the campaign period has ended.
If service is suspended or canceled due to a typhoon or other weather conditions and I receive a refund for the discounted ticket, does that mean the coupon I used can no longer be used?
After receiving a refund for your discounted ticket, if you wish to use a coupon on another day, we will provide you with a ‘Coupon Exchange Ticket.’ However, even if you have a ‘Coupon Exchange Ticket,’ it cannot be used if the campaign budget has been exceeded, or if the campaign period has ended.
